The weather is baking as we write this next blog and we’re feeling pretty envious of anyone that’s enjoying a motorhome holiday at the moment.
It’s a great time to book a holiday in the UK. Take a week off work or simply head away for the weekend in your recreational vehicle, grab some sun whilst it lasts and don’t forget to pack these accessories to make your break extra comfortable.
1. Bike Rack
You can pretty much go where you like on a motorhome holiday and once you park up on a campsite, this gives you the chance to explore the surrounding area.
Fit a bike rack to the back of your mobile home and you have a mode of transport to get around on when you arrive on holiday, you might not feel like driving anymore and simply want to use a spot of pedal power.
Bikes are really handy to have on holiday. You’ll be able to tour the local tourist attractions and won’t have to worry about negotiating narrow lanes or paying pricey parking fees.
Slap on the sunscreen and take a gentle ride on a bike, pack a picnic and have fun peddling in the sun.
2. Barbecue
It’s perfect barbecue weather right now and eating outdoors is one of the best bits of a camping or touring holiday.
Take a portable barbecue away with you and enjoy an al fresco meal of burgers and sausages, chicken or kebabs, make a fresh salad and have a beer or a cheeky glass of wine.
3. Awning
Add an awning to the side of your motorhome and you create the ideal dining room, it gives you cover in case it rains. Awnings double the width of a RV and they provide you with plenty of privacy, this can be useful on the busier campsites.
4. Folding Furniture
Don’t forget to pack the folding furniture for a sunny motorhome holiday either. If you want to dine outdoors you’ll need somewhere to sit and something to eat on, foldaway chairs and tables are the ideal solution.
